I wasn't even thinking about Zelda when I made this lol. I made a song called "Forest Temple" a while back. And I was like, "lemme just continue the temple thing". But, it's a funny thing to think about.
Heyyy dude, this is a fun track, and a great exercise in self-limitation. I like the ring mod sound of the melody. My ears are searching for more short-term variation and high-frequency content, something like a second hats pattern or high-pitched arpeggiator. Perhaps a more agressive bass eventually to match the power of the drums. I feel the track wants to go somewhere further.
I think you're right. It was a big limb to go out on and a lot of fun. Thanks!
worst/10 also it starts in G minor you hack fraud
i rember now :))) thank you!!!
Heck yeah, great instrumental. I think the bass could be compressed just a bit more to even out the different perceived volumes between different pitches, maybe even lowered a bit overall in volume, and the drums can definitely be bumped up in volume. I thought about the guitars being more present in the sizzle range of 10kHz, but the drum boost would probably satisfy my sizzle needs. Great work
This is amazing, super immersive and expressive from beginning to end.
"Ya like jazz?"
This is incredible; simple in its arrangement while deeply evocative and emotional in its presentation. The subtle pops, mp3-ish compression artifacts, and pitch warble make for a wonderful degraded sound (I'm not even certain if the first two were intentional, but man they contribute so much). You've approached perfection with this one.
Woohoo, Funky FM Zone, Act β
Super cool. I like the space you've created, nice panning and combination of reverb'd and dry elements, along with the subtle flange in that FM-sounding loop. Great work (i cri evertim)
thank you for this review, really inspiring, hope you'll check out the rest of my work to see what's up, all the best!!!
