Er, ert's e snerk!
Some elevator music never dies, unlike the pour souls in this madness.
This game is great! Just as a suggestion for game-overs, I'd like the frame to pause and for the correct character to be highlighted on the freeze frame, just to be able to tell what I didn't see. As it is now, the red screen plus correct character is a tad jarring to learn how I messed up.
I agree with this suggestion! Thanks for the feedback, have a nice day :)
Pretty Good Overall
As many have stated before, I think that my elevator music wasn't the best choice of music for this game. Try something more ambient and have little jingles at the ends, like someone screaming and fading away for a bottomless pit or something. Not bad though, and I thought the cake ending was funny.
Great Game!!
As Garghoul30 stated previously, the simplicity makes it so wonderful. Great use of my elevator music, but I think it would have been funnier if you had chosen something more light, slower, and childlike. But that's just me. Great work overall, and I think going through with a sequel would not be a bad choice.
This is so cool. It reminds me of future garage but with more space, drive, and impact. You have good instincts and sensibilities across genres!
ty, i appreciate the feedback
Much goof, much gadget, much fun!
So expressive and textural. Every moment feels like a transition to the next, which is my favorite way. Great instrumentation and voice leading, harmony crawling smoothly, decorated by arpeggios. This is just a stylistic choice, but I would suggest an even phatter/more distorted bass layer in the end sections to compliment the high frequencies of the hats and snare.
I'm bingeing more of your tracks right now; they're all so good.
Thank you!! I worked really hard to make the whole track feel coherent, it was actually one of the most difficult aspects of both the composition and the production of the song. Glad you noticed the harmonies, I’m still really proud that I could hit those notes so smoothly without any autopitch tbh!
I tried to make the bass subtly more distorted in the drops, but the mix is so full that I just didn’t want to push it. I understand where you’re coming from though!
Thanks for checking out my songs!! The album I released back in March probably gets the closest to this sound, although a lot of those tracks are a different genre.
Heck yeah, such an impressive range of style and emotion within 32x32 squares. Nice work!

Taking a break from grimoire reading
I make musical things and enjoy listening to others. I'm open to collaborations and commissions for playing, composing, mixing, mastering, etc.
